Not everyone online is who they say 🎮
A "12-year-old friend" in game chat might be a grown-up with bad intentions. Grown-ups who want to be secret friends with kids are breaking the law.
Danger signs (tell an adult if you see ANY):
- Asks you to move chat to WhatsApp/Instagram
- Asks for your photo, school name, or home address
- Says "don't tell your parents — they won't understand"
- Offers gifts, money, or game items
- Asks you to keep ANY secret from your family
Hero rule: The SECRET test — if someone online wants secrets from your parents, they are a villain. Block, screenshot, and tell a trusted adult immediately.
You will NEVER be in trouble for telling. The adult gets in trouble, not you.
