OUR FAMILY DIGITAL PACT
Everyone (including parents) agrees to:
- No phones at the dinner table
- Devices charge overnight OUTSIDE bedrooms (for kids AND parents)
- Nothing mean, nothing private of others, nothing permanent in anger
- If something online scares you, you tell us — and NO punishment for telling, ever
Parents promise:
- To explain any monitoring we do, and why
- To never read a teen's private messages EXCEPT when safety is at risk — and to tell them when we do
- To answer "awkward" questions honestly
Kids/Teens promise:
- To ask before installing new apps/games
- To never share passwords with friends, or photos/CNIC with strangers
- To use the 10-second pause before clicking links or sending in anger
Together we:
- Do a quarterly "family privacy check" (everyone reviews their own settings — parents too)
